Description
This WBLT; Supporting a Culture of Safety in a Hospital Setting, will enable hospital volunteers and non-clinical learners to understand essential hospital safety components so they can successfully support a culture of safety in a hospital setting. It will also help them understand the role they play as valuable members of their care teams in supporting a culture of safety. This WBLT contains an introductory section and individual sections on safety behaviours, hand hygiene, personal protective equipment (PPE), precaution signs, and emergency codes as well as sub-sections specific to the individual emergency codes. It also contains a review quiz (Kahoot!) at the end so hospital volunteers and non-clinical learners can test their knowledge. There is also an opportunity for them to ask further questions of the instructor as well as explore additional resources.
