Description
This course will assist language educators in acquiring both the theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary to effectively design language learning modules with the support of mobile technologies. Students enrolled in this course will thoroughly explore the theoretical foundation of mobile-assisted language learning (MALL) pedagogy, and how to best integrate such strategies in order to enhance language learning processes. The institutional and societal dynamics of language learning will be explored, particularly with a focus on trends over time in alignment with the growing popularity of MALL.

Learning Outcomes
After completing this WBLT, the user should be able to:
- An understanding of language learning theory, models, and concepts
- Develop practical skills necessary to build effective language learning modules
- Emerging issues faced by language learners
- The learning obstacles faced by contemporary language learners
- How to employ mobile-assisted language learning as an instructional practice
- Designing lesson plans within the construct of mobile-assisted language learning
- Maintaining accessibility and equity
- Evaluate various mobile-assisted language learning tools
